Fire Bolt rules question

Hey, another rules question regarding the Fire Walker psionic ability Fire Bolt.
Fire Bolt states that its duration is one melee round and that each Fire Bolt counts as one melee attack.
Now does that mean that a 6th level Fire Walker with six attacks per round can spend the 10 ISP for Fire Bolt then launch up to six fire bolts until the duration ends? Considering at 6th level each fire bolt does 6d6 damage that sounds pretty intimidating to me.
I want to get clarify this here with neutral parties or get some feedback before I make a ruling on this for my campaign.
Thanks again.
