I have Through the Glass Darkly and Between the Shadows, and I get a lot of use from both of those.

I can't find my copy of Shadows of Light. So I plan on rebuying that and the main book (since my "Nightspawn" book is a bit dog eared) as soon as I get a new game going. [/code]

SOL is a good book it covers the Nocturnes and forwards the clock a bit to 2006 and adds all sorts of elements into the shadow war. A new Faction called the Athanatos, More Psychics for Spook Squad. and city info for Pitsburgh (i know that's not spelled right) and an adventure that can span the globe.

I didn't like the psychics, but I loved what he did with the Nocturnes. And, I wish that he had been allowed to put all the info on the Templar Knights... because what little he had looked awesome.

I'm a bit nervous that if there are any more books for Nightbane the world will start to look more like Rifts. The Templar Knights really fit the setting without adding a ton of RCCs and ubermagic.

One of things that Jason Vey was concerned with when he wrote Shadows of Light was keeping Nightbane from becoming a glut of O.C.C.s and monsters like Rifts. However, he also understood that if new things weren't introduced, the game could become stale. It was a very fine balancing act that was involved in that book.
