Just goofing around and made some NPCs for future (hopefully) campaigns...the Chameleon Mouse seems like a great platform for an assassin. I threw some psychic claws on it and was just wondering how other people would use them...would they be long shimmering claws as defined or would they meld with the Chameleons powers?

Are you sure about that...I thought it said that it doesn't work with clothing (we're talking about the Chameleon Mouse's natural ability as defined in AtB2) and that the typical chameleon mouse generally only wears a loin cloth? I'll have to go look it over again.

Actually, the book specificly states that anything that covers the skin stands out. Therefore they tend to wear clothing that can quickly be removed (robes and cloaks) with very little underneath (bikini's and loincloths).
As for the psionic claws,

Seeing as how the chameleon's ability only applies to it's skin, the psi-claws, being made of mental energy, would not gain the chameleonic ability.

Alright, what about this...
Since mutant animal psionics don't require ISP spenditure, and they can turn the psionic ability on and off at will so long as they're only using that one psionic ability...couldn't the mutant just manifest the claws for that split instant when it strikes or parrys?
