I was going through my old archives and came across some topics that looked like they still had some potential for discussion as well as being of possible interest to people who joined the message boards after they originally occured.

One of my crazier ideas was a contest to see who the "Eight Drunken Immortals of Palladium" would be with nominations for danzig138, Erick Wucjick, Flash Fighter, Kuseru, Mantisking, Mephisto, Ronin, Sightblinder, and Zeus showing up (this was way back in the day, shortly after we finally managed to actually get a seperate forum dedicated to N&S), along with a huge revision to remove the aspect of alcohol from the contest due to personal considerations.

Anyway, to make a long story short, the basic idea was to see who people thought were the top idea folks for N&S ideas. Not real impressive sounding is it...maybe you just had to be there...

Gah. Flash Fighter has given up on Palladium. He hangs out more on RPG.net now. Zeus is gone, I haven't heard from him in years. And you mis-spelled Erick's name.

I think there was more of a "buzz" on the boards back then.

HBK would be me, in three letter form before I decided that just saying it as a word sounded cool.

I dunno, I did do up a fair amount of styles, but I haven't been active recent enough to be considered one of the Eight.... hell, I haven't even been drunk since around the 4th... but man, my drink fu was good.

...as for Soju... after my birthday, I don't think I should touch Soju.

To be fair, I used to be a wrestling a fan, a very very long time ago, when the sun was always shining and anybody on the street would gladly shave my back for a nickel.
