What would you changed if Ninjas & Superspies is revised

For me,they need to cut down the O.C.C,s to 8 and show new the Npc Spy Organtizations.

What would you like to see?

Miniatures rules (with miniatures to match), updated world information to reflect how things have changed since 1988, more skills, more and better spy gadgets, alternate knock-out rules (so that defeating a person in hand to hand combat doesnt mean you have to beat them to death or bleed them all over the place), and for the Martial Artist OCCs to be put back the way they were supposed to be (3 forms for the dedicated, 2 for the worldly; which is the way i run it anyway).

How about we rephrase to if N&Ss was 2nd Ed'ed what would you like to see?

Me, the list is pretty damn long, but that's just me.

Amoung the prime things is a suppliment book for running modern military / mercenary / police / counter terror games.

I've always thoguht a new version of Recon would come to existance easiest as a supliment for N&Ss

That's because you haven't seen my list.

Recon Modern Combat would have made an awesome N&S supplement.

I've always thought the 2 work really well together.

Similar orientation, only or differences in what needs to be emphasized in the ruleset (N&Ss is about cool hand to hand, Recon is about guns).

Especially big guns and artillery.

clearly set down how to use MA % (youhave to search forthe directions on how to use it and then its how to intimidate), to define the range on Chi attacks. Those are the two I can think of off the top of my head.

I dont remember any Chi attacks without a defined range Drew, you got any specific examples there? (rescued a few books today, N&S among them).

The martial art power Negative Chi Attacks didn't have the range listed.

Ahhh, ok, now I see why I don't remember any negative chi powers not listing an attack range. I view the Negative Chi Attacks entry at the bottom of p85 as a generic description of 2 actual attacks with listed ranges in the next column.

It's not, it's projection of negative chi, as outlined in Chi combat on pages 118-119, with a range of 40 feet, according to Erick Wujcik.

LOL....but no

the way I've come to know how to use MA is that anyone about the char with the high MA has to roll over the MA % to be unaffected by it. (same with the PB %). But for in the Warrior Spirit Kata, there is nowhere that explains how to use it.

I'm sorry. I should have said that the example was how not to use it, seeing how the squad was sent. But yeah, that's how we use it, and the type of situations we use it for. I didn't know it could be used in the kata though.

It was a good use of MA, the problem is he told the wrong story. If your story isn't beleivable and changes too quickly you won't succeed anyway.

If you're going to lie, tell a beleivable lie, and tell it again, and again and again rather than just once and people will beleive you.

Politicians do it all the time.
