Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, idolater, worshiper of fire,
Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again.
Ours is not a caravan of despair. - Rumi

Didn't Bond finally kill him off? I think 007 dropped him down a smoke stack, but that could have been the opening to one he was in. I know he hasn't been in one since Roger Moore played him, or soon after Moore began playing him.

Great, now you're making me break out the box sets. :nh:

I see they forgot the part, after "Bond gets to bed the Good Bond Girl", where Q tries to contact Bond and either succeeds (in which case he usually disconnects after a witty comment (or in disgust)) or fails and the phone/video communicator/what-have-you gets knocked over in the throes of passion.

I want to say Man With the Golden Gun. That is one of, if not the first without SPECTRE involved in it.

Hmm...that's the same one that came to my mind as well.

I think it was For Your Eyes Only, although the character who died in that opening scene was officially referred to only as "Bald Man with White Cat" for some reason...

Well Blofield was bald & had a cat, and SPECTRE hasn't made any appearance since then, so who else could it have been?

Nah, everyone knows it was Blofeld, and they made it pretty obvious in the movie, it's just that they couldn't actually say it was Blofeld due to a copyright battle between Ian Fleming, EON Productions, and producer Kevin McClory.

Basically, all characters originating from the novel version of Thunderball were no longer available to EON and MCA/Universal after 1975. This is also why Blofeld and SPECTRE would never again appear in a James Bond film, with the single exception of McClory's own Never Say Never Again, released by rival studio Warner Bros.

i think i prefer the
Tom Clancy Plot Generator a little better.
I believe Socrates said it best at, "I drank what?"

"JESUS SAVES! The rest of you take full damage."

They call me Hadoken 'cause I'm down-right fierce.
