It is supposed to be unique, ain't it?
Otherwise, just try to play "Machine gun" or "Seek&Destroy" on it.
Or even the "Symphony of Destruction"...
Adios

Is it vulnerable to being smashed on the stage at the climax of a 'gig'?

Didn't he play the National Anthem?
Close enough.

Good thing he never did any of these, then!
All Along the Watchtower (Dylan)
Wild Thing (The Troggs - performed at Woodstock)
Catfish Blues (traditional Blues song)
Sunshine Of Your Love (Clapton)
Hoochie Coochie Man (Willie Dixon...possibly older)
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (Stones)
I Got You (I Feel Good) (James Brown...possibly older)
Just to name a few...
PS: I'd make his alignment Anarchist...come on, a rock guitar that's not anarchist?
