Chi and Astral Projection

Okay, i need to know how chi affects astral travellers (that is, those who have left their body during use of the Astral Projection psionic power).
What chi powers can affect the astral being?
what chi powers can affect the vacant body?
how much chi does an astral being have?
how much chi does the vacant body have?
What psionic powers can defend against chi attacks (i believe i read Mind Block can, someplace, but are there others?)
actual references to book pages would be most appreciated.

If the person using the Chi power is on the astral plane, or the astral being is on the physical plane, any of them.
what chi powers can affect the vacant body?
All of them.
how much chi does an astral being have?
Typically astral beings will have their P.E. in Chi, though supernatural critters may have more.
how much chi does the vacant body have?
If using a psionic power to vacate the body, all of it.

None. Chi, Psionics, and Magic all work on different planes, ignore the note about Mind Block defending against Chi Powers.

Revised N&S, page 166, under "How does Chi affect, or interact, with the Magic and Psionics in Revised Heroes?"

I wouldn't think so, since it is a Zenjoriki Power and not a Chi power.

lets say a person with a P.E. of 20 astral projects. are you saying that both their astral self and their vacant body will have 20 Chi? would the chi not split, or only stay with one aspect of the person?
Also, if an astral traveller can take his chi with him, can he use it to affect non-astral travellers?

No, the astral self wouldn't have any Chi, it would all remain with the body.
Also, if an astral traveller can take his chi with him, can he use it to affect non-astral travellers?
No.

I'm sorry, what is an Astral Being if it is not someone who is Projecting?

No, the astral self wouldn't have any Chi, it would all remain with the body.
So, how does the astral self become affected by Negative Chi attacks, if the astral self has no chi? Also, if an astral traveller can take his chi with him, can he use it to affect non-astral travellers?
No.

The astral self is still tied to the physical body.

so the chi is with the vacant body, but the astral form can still be attacked with chi since it is tied to the body. he cannot use any chi powers while in astral form. right?

Pretty much.
