Palladium can't be given a free pass for criticism because people have a lot of emotion invested in it.
Pathfinder is good. It is not the second coming of D&D.

I've been playing CoH since it came out. Infinity server.
Interestingly enough, I'm in a Villain group called The Coalition States.

I stopped playing CoH a while ago, I didn't like the rushed feel of the game nor the limited selection. You say Marvel's coming out with a game?

Last I heard, Marvel had dropped production on their MMORPG in favor of sueing CoH.
Any website links to show otherwise?

Wasn't their entire lawsuit based on an argument that would, if they won, effectively outlaw pencils?
Also, they've settled the whole matter: http://plaync.com/about/2005/12/marvel_entertai.html

No.
SPOILER ALERT>
SPOILER ALERT>
Do not continue to read if you are following Son of M, and have not read the first issue yet.
He was one of the multitude of mutants who lost his powers.
After a heated discussion with Spider-Man, he jumped off a building. Spider-Man was unable to catch him. Last thig we see, is Spider-man bent over Quicksilvers' limp body, with Crystal and Lockjaw teleporting in.

I used to play CoH, and still do during the times where they re-activate my account for free.
My favorite character was Verdant -- a cigar-chomping energy blaster who loved using the sniper blast. I lost count of how many times I teamed up with other characters to bring down Frostfire.

Poor Frosty... he's gotta be getting tired of heroes laying the smack down upon him like this...

I have taken a 2 month break from it - basically stopped paying after soon after the ED bomb hit. Might poke my head in to see what CoV is like and play some more CoH during the holidays. I play mostly on Guardian and Justice.

I'm on Guardian as well...more like was on Guardian. I started to get bored with the game shortly after I purchased COV. Besides, "ED" put the final nails in the coffin. Eventually I'll probably pick it up again...but to get around "ED" I'll have to try stuff that I never played much before. Heh, so much for my blasters...

i play trollers now . started playing them before ED . i got one blaster i got to 37 and ED didnt hurt him much. i just put range extenders in them. that made my sniper blast REALLY nasty (especailly with aim and buildup). or if im working with a team . after a tank has herded.....aim, buildup , inferno.....
rest of the team plays clean up. even carnies dont stand up well to a well coordinated team with 2 fire blasters alternating that combo.
