So if the human form is wearing a suit of armor (say Huntsman) and carrying a Submachine gun, they just disappear after the switch ?
If the demon is carrying a bag of stolen gems and decides to switch, do they get to hide along with his sword and armor ? Or is the human left "holding the bag" ?

I hadn't actually thought about it. In my short run of using them (and they make great villains) there was never a situation where they "swapped" in a situation that I had to sweat it.
However, I do think you're right in your Instant Wardrobe comparison. I think that it probably totally changes over.
