There are some Samurai styled armours in Rifts Japan - perhaps souping up one of those to Bushido Industries fine standards might give you what you are after.

Use the Samurai SAMAS from WB 8: Japan.

Go with some Shirow Manga influenced armor - half the plating, twice the speed, and great combat bonuses for power armor elite.

And then go watch the 2005 release of Appleseed and the end of GitS SAC (first season) to see how power armor is really supposed to be used.
