The latest about the United Megaverse Print

Hey Everyone,
Sorry I haven’t been around this week, but my world is a crazy and busy one.
With any luck, this is the first of a handful of Murmurs, updates and commentaries I hope to post later today.
About the United Megaverse Print
Recently, we have been getting a few dozen emails a day from folks asking when they might be seeing their United Megaverse print.
Soon -- as in the next week or two. However, the print is different than, say a book, each is hand signed (the easy part), numbered and personalized to the purchaser. That means we can not send them out all at once.
I have signed 1,500 copies (with more to come) and personalized and numbered the first 750. They have been mailed out in 3-4 separate batches which means you’ll all be getting them at different intervals. Furthermore, the method of shipping will make a difference on how quickly you’ll get your copy. For example, shipping to Ohio via “UPS” typically takes 1-2 days. Shipping to the same address via “Media Mail” can take anywhere from 2-12 days! I know my pal, Joe Bergmans, all the way in California, only just received his print yesterday via media mail, and Joe was in the first day’s shipment last week Thursday.
Anyway, numbers 1-750 have shipped. (A note to avoid confusion, there are TWO later numbers in the quadruple digits that shipped due to
special circumstance; i.e., a birthday gift. So don’t be confused if somebody posts saying, “Hey, I just go my print number 1400 and something.”)
While you are all eating at barbecues and sunning yourselves on the beach this weekend, I hope to finish personalizing the next 750+ prints. That’s cool. It’s time consuming, but mindless work that I can do at home.
In fact, my big plan for the weekend is to get together with a friend and his family Saturday evening, and relax for the better part of Sunday and Monday. I have a stack of about 120 comic books to catch up on, a pair of dogs to play with, and a girlfriend to cuddle with. Heck, we might go out and catch one of a dozen movies we’d like to see . . . or not. Looking forward to a lazy couple of days before jumping back into the grinder.
What grinder? In case you haven’t noticed, we are waaaaaaay behind on our release schedule and need to finish up Madhaven, Powers Unlimited 3, the Swimsuit issue of The Rifter #35 and other books. More on that later.
To all our friends and fans in the USA . . . have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend. And thank you everyone for your continuing support. We have sold just under 1500 prints with more orders coming in every day. And the cool thing is, I think we have sold one to somebody in every corner of the world (Croatia, Brazil, New Zealand, China, New York . . . every country on the planet!). How cool is that? Every day looks brighter and more positive for Palladium Books thanks to YOU!
Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
