Strangenely enough, leathery wings are extremely damage resistant so I'd keep the 50pt bonus. I like the idea of giving HA wings the same bonuses, though I've never actually had anyone play a flight capable HA.

I do not have the book at hand, but does the AA have much better in-flight skills to outmanuever and outfight Machine flyers? Maybe a wingpack or Zephyr has more speed and punch, but maybe the AA has the aerial skills that outclass them.
Has anyone found the AA underpowered? So far, they look quite cool and dangerous.
As for the "HA is rare" issue, I think that is more of a matter for your individual game because HA looks real common based on the Great House numbers. In my game, PC Roughnecks would have the rank and privilege of HA, but most of the rank and file would be LBA, kinda like Officers vs. Enlisted. I have been fiddling with the idea of HAs needing more care so only critical missions will use them, most of the time the PCs will be in their LBA.

About the only thing given more raw respect for it's combat strengths than the archangels was the scarecrows in my games. Even at lower levels a well built AA was devistating against anything but the heavy combat planes the NEXUS has to offer. Against ground forces even the Draco is weak by comparison and as recon or hit and run units AA are absolutely unparalleled.
Sure the NEXUS planes can outrun AA once theyre on scene but most patrols wont have air support if they're trying to find Resistance bases. By the time the planes do show up for support operations, the AA can be hiding in the nearest tunnels or in camoflauged bunkers built into the local terrain.

Well, my group switched Packmasters and Archangels both to Light Host Armors instead of Living Armor. Metabalisms for both are Limited to Photosynthetic, Thermosynthetic, and Parisite Host Armor only.
The Roughnecks which are Metabalism limited btw.
The Outriders are Metablism limited too.
So we gave AA/PMs a Metabalism limit too.
Only Dreadguard have the ANY no restrictions.

See, I'm more inclined to do just the opposite. Give Outriders only Living Armour instead of Host Armour. HA is supposed to be rare, except that three of the eight presented OCCs get it in some form or another.

Can you give us some examples of this? I've always had trouble building a decent Arch Angel.[/quote]
