Yepp this allows you have Crab Claws or Mantis Scythes (your choice).
I made a Crab Host Armor long time ago. Based it off the Crab Warrior picture in Rifts: CS Navy.
Worked great btw.

My first HA I experimented with had an additional pair of arms, re-inforced and with Mantis scythes - 7D6 MDC per attack! Add Paired weapons into the mix and you have an effective hand to hand Roughneck!
