The second of the races I'm making for my small empire, once more opinions are welcome, and please forgive my spelling.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the Siasurrgue first incounted the Azij, it was in deep space. Both races had just begun using FTL drive, and it was first contact with an alien race for both. Luckily the meeting went well, and negotiations after formed a lasting alliance, and soon after the Azij were welcomed into the Aesurriam Empire with open arms.
The Azij are humanoid in appearance, light purulent blue skin, darker blue hair, and having a second pare of hands and arms under the first, makes them somewhat stand out. Most have a rather harsh, rugged, look to their faces, due to the shape of the bones in the face, giving them an angry look most of the time. Other races seem to find this rather off putting, and will be somewhat uneasy around them till they get use to the idea.
One of the odder things about them is there overwhelming love of piloting. All Azij seem born to be pilots (not to say that they all are), whether it’s some of the most advanced craft in space, hovercraft, or even horses. Steady nerves, the extra pair of hands, and fast reflexes, allow them to get the most out of a craft, and that’s why most will join the Empyreal Navy for some time.
The home world of the Azij is much colder than what is the norm (rarely gets above 65*F at the equator), and as such they have a hard time working, even living in higher tempuaters. All Azij that are off world will ware what’s called a cool suit, nothing more than two layers of M.D.C. fabric with thin tubing running thru it, hooked up to a small refrigeration device, that will pump cooled fluid thru it.

3D6, P.B. 2D6, Spd. 4D6
Size: 5’ 2” to 6’
Weight: 110 to 200 pounds
M.D.C.: By armor or Psionics only.
S.D.C./Hit points: 40 plus whatever gained from O.C.C., plus 1D6 per level.
Horror Factor: None, but can look somewhat intimidating.
P.P.E: 2D6, or by O.C.C.
Average Life Span: 120 years.
Natural Abilities: Due to good hands, and fast reflexes, all Azij get +15% to any and all piloting rolls. Impervious to cold, even magic cold will only do half damage.
Psionic Powers: Standard, same as humans.
Magic Powers: None, but have no problem learning, use appropriate O.C.C.
Combat: Normal, varies with skills.
Vulnerabilities/Penalties: Temperatures above 60*F will make the Azij start to feel sluggish, and will make it hard for them to breathe (-1 on all combat rolls). If it climes to 70 and above, it will be deadly for them to remain in such temperatures, losing all inshative, all combat rolls are -5, the person will lose 8 S.D.C./Hit points every 5 hours, till they are brought into a place where the temperature is 60* or lower. Wearing a Cool suit will allow the Azij to live in temperatures up to 125*F.
O.C.C.s: Any that a human can take, but tend to stick to ones that allow the most piloting skills.
Alliances and Allies: As full members of the Aesurriam Empire, the Azij get along well with both the Siasurrgue and the Szon, and take other races on a case by case base. They tend to be somewhat amazed that any race with only one pair of arms can learn to pilot anything more complex than a bicycle, and engage in good nachered ribbing of pilots of other races.
New race.

I think the tempratures where this race begin to suffer penalties Is too low. I suggest 90 to 100 degrees so they would be ok on a normal day but during the hot summer months on terra prime they will begin to suffer the penalties about 30 degrees earlier than tha average human, otherwise I like it.

We had real books not PDFS and we carried them on carts we pulled ourselves that we built by hand. We had Thaco and we were happy. If we needed dice we carved ours out of wood. Petrified wood just because we could.
