Should host armor upgrades be resored?

Should host armor upgrades be resorbed to exchange for other upgrades?
Like trading forearm blades that cost 12 Bio-E cost and get 66% rounded up back so say 8 Bio-E. It would come in handy if awesome new upgrades come in future source books and no way to afford them. A engineer set your armor in a vat for say a week then makes the new upgrades. What do you think?
