Just a quick note on things – August 3 2006

I’m feeling better – a bit less stressed the last few days, even though I’m still behind on a million things (including PU3 and tax stuff), but we hope to get PU3 to the printer before we leave for Gen Con.

I want to thank EVERYONE who sent me messages or posted online in response to my last Murmur. It helped get me back on track and relax a little. Thanks for being so understanding and kind. Don’t worry, the Palladium crew and I are hanging in there.

1750 – A Megaverse United prints sold to date.

Rifts® World Book 14: Spirit West will be back in print by Monday, August 5.

NMI celebrates his one year anniversary as Palladium Administrator

Congratulations NMI! And thanks for doing a great job this past year. We certainly appreciate all the time and effort you’ve given us, and I think most people online will agree that you’ve been fair, evenhanded and available. Good work and thanks for staying with Palladium through thick and thin. Actually, that last part applies to all of the volunteer Moderators as well, great work. Thanks each and every one of you.

Gen Con Indy 2006 – Palladium Books is Booth #301

We’ll pack up the truck on Tuesday, and head out to Indy and set up the booth on Wednesday. Come on by and meet . . .
Me (Kevin Siembieda)
Kathy Simmons
Wayne Smith
Jeffry Scott Hansen
Randi and Roger Cartier
Brandon Aten and Taylor White will be in on Saturday
NMI/Jeff Ruiz will in on Saturday too,
Plus, Megaversal Ambassadors (including Zachary Houghton and Dennis Hughes) will be around running games and causing trouble. Other Palladium freelancers are also likely to pop by.
Everyone is glad to chat and sign autographs, so bring stacks of books for us to sign. We’ll also have all available back stock books, glasses, bumper stickers, some original artwork, and collectibles for sale along with recent releases and some photocopies of PU3.

Heroes of the Megaverse® Print (new, by Freddie Williams)

We’ll have a new print debuting at Gen Con, Freddie E. Williams II’s Heroes of the Megaverse®.

It will also be offered on line when we get back from Gen Con and will probably sell for around $10-12 plus shipping – unsigned and unnumbered. I want to offer something nice at a lower price for those who can’t afford the $50 print (A Megaverse United), plus the darn thing is just awesome and I want to share with you. The print is only a half inch smaller than the original too.

We may offer the same Heroes of the Megaverse print signed by me and various staff and/or freelancers (as they bop into the office) for a few bucks more, like $15 plus shipping.

I was deeply moved when Dennis Hughes (The Subjugator) presented me with the original artwork as a gift at the Palladium Open House this past May. It is just to fabulous to keep to myself and I hope you guys and gals like it as much as we do.

I feel a little weird about it, because it depicts me as a humble Cyber-Knight holding a banner that says Heroes of the Megaverse, with a crowd of gamers around me. Dennis is the dude holding the stack of books, Freddie is the fella with long black hair, next to him is his fiancé, Kiki, and I suspect a lot of the other gamers depicted are also “real” people.

What I like most about it, is that the Heroes of the Megaverse are YOU, the Palladium fans, which is the truth.

I know I’m forgetting something, but that’s it for now . . .

Thanks for listening to my mutterings and murmurings.
