Life Stone conversion?
One of my players wants to take the "Life Stone" Body Hardening Excercise form Rifts China 2 for his Demon Hunter in Mystic China. Since this would normally give him 1D6+6 MDC, along with other bonuses, I am reticent to allow it. However I do like the "feel" of the power and its application in a N&SS/Mystic China game.
Does anyone have a converson for this power into an SDC setting that does not turn the character into an indestructible juggernaut of MDC fury?

If he can get to Rifts earth China, then its possible for him to learn it if he can find a tearcher.
Otherwise, No.
The down side of getting that body hardening is now that char is a Rifts char and can't seam to find a rift back to the N&S world.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

What I mean to say is that I am considering allowing the power to exist in the N&SS/Mystic China world, but I am looking for a decent conversion for the power into the SDC setting.
The character is about to recieve a new Body Hardening power (4th level) and will need to go on a side-quest to find someone to teach it to him. He wants to use the Life Stone power from Rifts China 2, and I have tacitly considered allowing it.
The problem is, the power provides a limited amount of MDC for the character to supplement his SDC and Hit Point reserves. Since the power grants 1D6+6 MDC and 4D6 SDC I was thinking about simply making it 5D6+6 SDC total. However, I would like to hear the opinions of those who use the N&SS system, to glean some meaningful feedback.
With a total of 5D6+6 SDC this power has the potential of being better than Stone Ox. So if I take away the extra 1D6+6 SDC and instead add an Armor Rating then the power becomes better than Chi Gung.
What I need is a balance for the power. Can anybody help me?

I'd transfer the MDC to SDC and call it done. 5d6+6 isn't so much really... especially if the dice hate him.

Of course, on further consideration, there is another interpretation for converting this one - 1d6+6 SDC, 4d6hp. Reduce both bonuses one level and it maintains balance a little better.
