Mysteries of Magic, Redux

I talked with Kevin this morning about Mysteries of Magic. What with all the changes in the Palladium system since I turned in the manuscript, and my own development as a writer since then, I hoped to get some time to rework Mysteries of Magic's manuscript into something a bit more in line with the current rules.
I should have the editted manuscript done by Christmas. I've got a full-time job, after all.

Cool.
Redoing a manuscript that big by Christmas is quite a feat.

And I can pretty much only work on weekends.
However, I'm not rewriting, just editting, which goes fairly fast for me. After all, when your writing starts off with this high of quality, editting is an easy process...

Good luck with the editing process. Hope to see the book sometime next year. Palladium Fantasy needs new sourcebooks.

Or quality this high, even.
Here's hoping it's not just a wild goose chase, Nexxy. The wait's been long, but you've still got my money when it sees print. Fingers crossed...

The 1st thing I thought was....What changes? there hasn't been a PF book published for a few years now.
I just hope the Editting dosen't make it into a rifts clone....blech.

Not a Rifts clone, but, unfortunately, any editing they did was going to bring it in line with RUE's modification on spell attacks per round. I had a neat mechanic for speeding up spellcasting which I have to recast to higher level to bring it in line.
Plus, some of the stuff just wasn't very good, or well edited.

Series of books?
Care to elaborate?
The manuscript has the potential to get a bit huge. I finally broke down and split up one of the chapters into two. I've also considered doing a psionics book, but I think that would have to wait a while until I can write about psionics with completely altering it.

Looking forward to it with great anticipation MrNexx. It's been far too long since something new came out for PF.
