My first question is that if did anyone notice that juciers and certin item and weapons from splicers are in the hu powers 2 book?
and 2: if a splicer in host armor gets rifted to the rifts world could some one of high level magic get rid of the nano plauge??
your thought would help me alot

Weeell if you look at botht he books you'll see that the author of Splicer and PU books is the same. Oll good Carmen Bellaire.
And in PU2, that introduce new class for HU games, that Carmen first toy wiht eugenic and bio based uber weapons. From that he developed the concept in splicer, with some imput from After The Bomb (the bio-E idea). SO nothign surprising or astonishing
for the second question. well Nanoplague wille ventually worn off after sometimes, not being replenishe d costnalty by atmosphere, but to ge trid of ti faster, I think that yes some form of magic,e xpceially the ones tha tmess up technology, will probably do the work. Or Just hug a giant super strong electromagnetic source for a while. This will destroy all the little tech bastard for good. Will make your host armor plagued by cancer and tumors but hey you are free from nanoplague .

Strong EM fields have been associated with cell damage and cancer...
However, I think it more likely that Host Armor is of tougher stuff, so that they're more resistant to cancer growth than mundane flesh...they're closer to supernatural beasts in terms of toughness and resilience.

I would tend to leave the plague in their cells. As it is, they can switch to a magic class and be pure terrors.

Was so confused as to when I started a Splicers thread.... ><
Splicers stuff in PU2 though eh? Man I need to get around to giving these books a deeper read.

Most of the Eugenics section is just a revamp of the Splicers stuff with Dollar costs instead of Bio-E.

I know when the books came out, but I thought Carmen wrote that he had written the stuff for Splicers and then used it in PU2, which is part of the reason why the $ costs were so wiggy since he had to convert it from Bio-E.
