I am happy to see that Splicers is once again getting some attention in the Rifter, and I must say that Todd did a terrific job. It's an amazing article and I highly recommend it. I only wish I didn't have to wait 4 months to see his War Mount designs.

Maybe he will post some teasers. List of their War beasts or something.

The War Mounts section will feature the Agni Plasma-Bird (a close artillery support peacock), the Ganesh Personnel Carrier (a giant, heavily armed and armored elephant), the Jhapattanaga air assault beast (a giant, jet powered flying cobra), the Naga Serpents (hyper-intelligent snakes bonded to Naga Dancers), and the Nihilist Suicide Beast (a rock encrusted self-destructing mollusk).

Anything else we can expect in a future Rifter, or will that wrap up this particular article?

That wraps up this particular article. I had a few more ideas for some warmounts that I never stated up. Things like 6-legged tigers and other Indian themed animals.
What will likely happen is I'll roll the ideas into my current Rifts manuscripts, since House Shiva evolved out of some other research I have been doing...

Close artillery support peacock-a phrase I never thought I would see in print.
All kidding aside, I can't wait to get my hands on anything for Splicers. Thanks Todd.

War Mounts are out, and I once again they rock. I particularly love the Jhapattanaga (didn't expect a flying cobra). Wanted to see what people thought of the power levels. As someone who's written a lot of Splicer's material, I thought the power levels were a bit high, but I also like high power levels. Thoughts?

I guess some rival house will have to breed a flying mongoose.

House Shiva is powerful but their downfall will happen due to NEXUS or the other houses it will be sad when it happens.

But they might be able to survive if they have more then enough librarians. Maybe one is off experimenting on something new when it happens. He can recreate the house elsewhere.
