Chaos Earth:Rise of Magic also have it under the name of Death Mage.
In it the Nercomancer lost some of ther special abilities like fuse with the dead or some thing like that.
So in BtS the Nercomancer would also that non have the majorty of Special abilities,BtS is lower in Ley line activity then Rifts and PF.
That how I see it

Rifter 7 has some necro variants.
