well i'd say looking in both books it can go either way. if your printing out the sheet from High Seas then i'd just give it to the guy since it's already on the sheet.

Track: Humanoids feels more like an Assassin skill than a Thief skill to me.

While I could certainly understand the arguement for Thieves to get it, I'd go with main book here and say no. Thieves are a mainbook class, afterall, so unless the erratta was accompanied by a note saying they were supposed to have it, I'll go with what the book says.

Agree. Thieves are not for the most part going to be tracking someone. Besides, cities make tracking pretty hard at different times of the year.

You go with the book first.... before any character sheet off of the cutting room floor.

Personally, I would give it to him. Some of the guild services for a thief would make use of this skill. The thief is something of a low level assasin, if they have guild backing.

Spying/Surveillance (which I think a theif should be able to get)/Reconnaissance
Kidnapping (He may not be in town)
Murder

The character sheets are an update to the original 1st edition sheets. They need to be cleaned up a bit and altered to reflect the changes. Also they need to add all of the new OCCs that have come out as well.

But go with what the book says, unless you want to change it for your game.
