Ok, lets face it: in the whole giant world of things it seems like every author in palladium has a different idea on how martial arts work in the different worlds of the megaverse. Also, might I add trying to actually make martial arts a viable option in Rifts is a headache. I've looked at Kuseru's take on it, and read the rifter authors take on it, and listened to several friends takes on it (which pretty much just took ideas from both Kuseru and the Rifter author to make a merging). I'm not even going to mention Rifts China 2 as that seemed to just make a messed up situation even more messy. It's like people are trying to build a system from scratch every new release!

Overall, do people here think that the system should be rebuilt from the ground up, or should the existing system continue, albeit tweaked and fixed as needed?

Overall, my vote is to keep tweaking the existing system until it becomes the basis for all hand to hand combat in the Megaverse.

I would of said it...the bad kids pretend it doesn't exist becasue its soo much better then rifts. (bad=rifts munchkines...errrrr oh I forgot munchkins just LOVE bringing N&S and MC stuff into rifts to *&^*^* with the GM. So bad=narrow minded rifts players who don't have any non-rifts books.)

You know, my favorite read when it comes to this sort of stuff is the "Fixing Chi in the Palladium Megaverse" that Kuseru made.

Indeed. It's the common sense that the megaverse needed to make the many worlds a better place. Kuseru should so get his material published into a book. It wouldn't be bad at all considering how much material he has on the web.

Personally, I just ignore anything other than N&S. Works for me.
