I was wondering if there is any location to get a good picture of the coalition unit patches, as seen in the RIFTS Ultimate edition (pages 233,235, 236, 237)
That is without copying them from the rule book.
If not there could be.
Hopefully there is somewhere else to get them.
thanks for any responses.

Let's see, you'd have:
Corps, such as "Armored Corps, Infantry Corps, Air Corps" etc.
Then, it would move like this:
Division insignia
Regiment Insignia
Brigade Insignia
Rarely a Battalion insignia
Almost NO company insignia
Never platoon or squad.
So a guy belonging to the Air Corps, V Army, VII Corps, 3rd SAMAS Division, 2nd Air Combat Regiment, 8th Air Combat Brigade, 19th Air Combat Battalion, 14th SAMAS Company, 3rd Platoon, 4th Squad, would wear:
The 2nd ACR patch, or possibly the 8th ACB patch.
All though more than likely they'd wear division or Corps patch.
So he'd wear either VII Corps or 3rd SAMAS Division patches.

Re: Coalition unit patches
Anybody know if/where you can buy Coalition and or Robotech unit patches. Those would be rockin' to see "floating" around the Con circuit.
I know I'd buy several of each. ![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Coalition unit patches
I think the lowest I ever saw anyone wear would be Regiment, and that was 11th ACR, Blackhorse.
Outside the armor, which would be broadcasting an IFF, the daily wear uniform would use patches.
The right shoulder is reserved for patches of units that the soldier has seen combat with.
The left shoulder is reserved for the current unit of the soldier.
Things like Ranger, Airborne, or Special Forces tabs are worn according to the unit.
For example, if you say combat with the 75th Rangers, and afterwards got assigned to 15th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, you'd wear the 75 Ranger patch, with Ranger and Airborne scrolls, on the right shoulder, and on your left shoulder, would wear the 1st Cav patch. Outside of a dress uniform (IE: Battle Dress) these patches would be (On CS uniforms) gray and black. On dress uniforms, they'd have color.
This keeps the soldiers as a faceless horde, since Divisions are LARGE.

1) they would be frickin' awesome.
2) they would be frickin' EXPENSIVE.
That's alot of stitching to do it right or a lot of multi-color work to do a half-arse iron-on job. Either way mucho dinero and little likelihood of seeing sufficient monetary return to make it work the effort.
Yea, it blows, but that's life on the fringes of business liquidity, I'm afraid.

My advice is try to get some made yourself. The good news is you'd totally be THE MAN at cons.
