A Burster and Fusionist's Flame Coat Powers, can Be Combined?

Hi, I have a question:
Set-Up: A Burster and an Elemental (Fire/Water) Fusionist are working together, and a fight breaks out against a demon.

Question: Can the Burster use his Powers (like Super Fuel Flame) to add to the MDC of the Fusionist's Flame Coat Power? If so, how much? I'd think that X 10 is way too much, but maybe adding to the Fusionist's effective Level for MDC may be a good thing. So if the Burster and Fusionist are both 1st Level, the MDC is as if from a 2nd Level Fusionist.
Just my idea, but I need to know what others think, please.

Thank you,

it would not increase the MDC, it would, however, enable him to extend the protection to a radius around him.

Alternatively, you could say that it destroys the flame coat... it makes the fire aspect overpower the water aspect, and destroys the delicate balance.

Things may have changed, but the fuel flame spells and the bursters fuel flame abilities don't actually apply to magic as far as I know

No, fuel flame still needs fuel just because the pshyic made it X10 larger doesn't mean it will not die out the next round. So you could use it for a one round bonus, but I believe it would end at the start of the person next action.

I agree with you on that, just what I was saying the fire needs fuel if is going tocontinue to burn.

In the case of an elemental fusionist, the fuel is water.

And a fueled flame doesn't need fuel for its increased growth; just ISP.

Read the power. It's pretty specific about what it does.

Incidentally, analytical chemistry is not a perfect hammer when it comes to paranormal/supernatural powers.
