Accomplished a lot this week

Accomplished a lot this week

The week of October 8-12 was a very busy one. We prepped for the processing and shipping of Christmas Surprise Packages – no small task. I did a lot of editing and rewriting on Dyval (it is coming along nicely), Wayne and I worked on the cover insert ad and interior page ad for Comics and Games Retailer, I communicated with Tommy Yune several times this week (and got some Robotech® goodies to enjoy and work with – it's fun and nice working with Tommy), I worked with Alex to get the new Palladium Collectibles Auction ready to launch this Saturday evening (more unique and fun collectibles), did a press release, we shipped out The Rifter #40 this morning and Wayne and I are heading to Fort Wayne, Indiana this afternoon to the Alliance/Diamond Retailer Summit (it focuses on games). Those are just the major highlights of the week.

I also spoke to Erick Wujcik, Irvin Jackson, Apollo Okamura, Jeff Hansen, Margaret Hailey (our intern), Carmen Bellaire, and Thom Bartold, among others, and did a bunch of other business-type things. Feels good. Tiring, but good.

When Wayne and I get back, I hope to finish work on Dyval by the end of next week and dive into Robotech®.

Back to Indiana for the third time this year

This time it’s Fort Wayne for the Alliance/Diamond Retailer Summit
– Saturday – October 13. Wayne Smith and I will be at the Palladium booth to answer questions and chat about Robotech®, Rifts®, Dyval and other projects, and handing out FREE copies of The Rifter® #39 and our latest catalog.

This is our LAST convention/trade show of the year, so if you’re coming down to it or work at a store in the area, come on over, and bring books for us to sign.

The latest Auction

The new Palladium Collectibles Auction has some awesome stuff in it like the Rifts® Licensing Bible (this is what we sent Jerry Bruckheimer!), a complete set of uncut Robotech® covers (19 different all signed by me), TMNT® and Heroes Unlimited™ uncut covers (each one signed; includes the original TMNT cover, TMNT Guide to the Universe, etc.), 25 Rifts® uncut covers (signed), a couple of Robotech® Sentinels Animation Cels (Inorganics), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® Sourcebook Set (signed by Wujcik & me), Rifts® Ultimate Gold #604 (with an extra 25 signatures, more than 35 in all), a Rifts® Silver, RiftsworkZ Portfolio, A+Plus comics, bunch of T-shirts and other stuff. 40 items in all. Goes up Saturday evening.

Running late (story of my life it seems) so I have to run. Check out the new Press Release that is being posted TODAY for more details about the new Auction, the latest news, the $50 hardcover art book, and product info.

On the road again . . .
