It was mostly a good week. We accomplished a lot. In addition to what I talked about in my last Murmur we . . .
We sent Naruni Wave Two and Rifts® Cyber-Knights to the printer for a limited, print on demand run, to make them available online in time for Christmas. Wolfen Empire, Juicer Uprising, and Rifts® China One should follow a week or two later.
We sent a few other titles further along into development, touched base with various freelancers and dealt with a few business issues.
We shipped more Christmas Surprise Packages and had a blast picking and packing them. Doing our best to have people exclaim, "Oh wow," when they open their Grab Bags. I’m surprised at how many people want signed photos of me or me and the staff. Gosh, I guess we are celebrities.
Oh, and thanks so much to those of you who have been sending warm wishes our way, they are appreciated.
I don’t know how, but I forgot how much work the Grab Bags are. Fun work, but work nonetheless. I find myself spending 2-3 hours a day working on them or signing books in preparation for the next batch. It's cool, but chews up time.
A great deal is going on behind the scenes and I am busy writing and editing. Unfortunately, the creative end of things just aren’t moving as fast as any of us would like. I can tell you that Dyval is every bit as awesome as Hades. I can hardly wait till we send it to the printers. And to help move things along, I'll be writing all weekend (and not answering the telephone).
Well, I better get back to writing.
