I'm sorry to say tha tin SPlcier there is little or no detail when dealing wiht Nanotechnology by itself. Ther eis something of what you're talking about in teh Techno-Jackers description and powers, but to say the truth is nothign you can't find in other Palladium books, like Phase Word(See Machine people and Wolfen Quatoria). The Nanoplague show and detail only the effec tof nanomachines on morphing metallic object(don't ask me why it work in such weird way, i've asked and no one gave me a decent sensed answer). So if you're searching info on Nanotechnology Splicer IS NOT the right setting.

Nanotechnology would be the perfect assassination tool, it's scary.
Instruct them to go to the bed of your victim, when the victim is asleep they enter the victim's body and burrow their way to the heart or brain where they form up into a synthetic clot to cause a heart attack or stroke (could even help the stroke along by aiding in the rupture of the blood vessel). Once the victim is dead (detected by no pulse pushing against the nanites) they leave the body leaving virtually no evidence (nothing a standard autopsy would find).

A weapon that launches nanoes at the target. Once there, they are on a "search and destroy" mission. Find cracks, crevices, openings to enter armor (if any) then enter the body to do the nasty stuff as stated above.
This weapon would have to be of such a design that it did not destroy the nanoes in the launching process. Or in a "mud ball" that can be thrown at the target. Either way the impact activates their programed mission.

Read Gregory Benford...Or David Brin's 'Diamond Age'
Creation Nanotech is very fun....carry around a small packet of naonotech 'spores' and then use them to disassemble the furniture in your hotel room to produce a macro-weapon...or spray the stuff inside a parking garage and watch the stuff turn all the parked cars into preprogrammed warmachines at your beck and call...Use it to build fortifications in the middle of nowhere, or turn that decrepit apartment building you're hiding out into an armor-reinfirced fortress...

This wouldn't be a practical battlefield weapon, because it would take time for the nanites to get to a location they can affect the host. It would be ideal for an assassination weapon, a small sticky pellet that can be fired at the target without them really feeling it (just feels like you got hit by a bit of wind-thrown debris or an insect running into you before changing course and flying off).

Something that small is unlikely to take much damage from most impacts. But you'd have to be careful that you don't infect yourself accidentally while loading the weapon that fires them. Fumble that bullet while loading the gun and it falls and hits your leg, you better have a way to shut them down.

How would you stop that from happening you know? If you're asleep and a swarm of silent, undetectable nanorobots is directed against your equipment...there just ain't too much you can do about that.... you don't want the mechanoids getting ahold of this stuff...
Welding sounds like a complicated job for a group of nanites...
Would be simpler to just shred all electrical wires, circuits on circuitboards and microchips. For a quick time-limited and dirty job just focus on electrical wires connected to cooling systems for the reactor and they'll have to shut down fast.

Nanites could be made that thrived in the presence of certain materials...like say petrochemical lubricants or certain plastics.....using such materials to catalyze their reproductive cycles, and creating byproduct wasteproducts that do further damage...like for instance the nanites create coral-like growths surrounded by a polystyrene goo that further gums and clogs actuators and lubricant tubing....
Even thickening the viscosity of lubricants can have a profound effect on the smooth operation of a machine, causing it to burn itself out and overheat its joints...

Or cause the nanotech to grow a sensor web inside the vehicle....so you can listen in on EVERYTHING that takes place inside it.....as well as track the vehicle and its occupants wherever they go...add a few more lines of programming, and you can even get the nanotech to gimmick the vehicle to lock up and seal shut as a trap, with your targets inside, so you can swoop in and grab them at your leisure....

Already in Phase World only difference is it only targets armor to breakdown for benign reasons. It also is programed to die after a few minutes no reason to change the code since it is explicit the nonas are programd to not attack humans not unable to
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.
