Need 3 Historical/Literary cursed people

Unread post by Rimmerdal »

I'm picking on form major eras or conflicts. Also some using some literary people who were cusred or signed a deal with devil. Id' use the Red Baron but I have slotted for another role.

Faust-
King Midas-
Professor James Moriarty-
Hienrich Himmler-
Dorion Grey-

That Casca guy with the spear?

I'm not familiar with Casca... so I don't know.

Wait, shouldn't you be in bed old man?

From the Wiki:
Tecumseh's curse was reputed to cause the deaths in office of Presidents of the United States elected in years divisible by 20, beginning in 1840. This alleged curse appears to have fallen dormant, since Ronald Reagan, (elected in 1980) survived an assassination attempt.

Also, Cúchulainn. Had an interested set of geasa. A wonderful example of a cursed figure. You can wiki him, too.

How are Moriarty, the Red Baron, and Himmler cursed?

There just historicly evil...I figured they might be demons that hidden among humanity.

Wait, wasn't that the one for Sega Genisis? If so, I liked that game. :ok:

Yeah, as far as cursed people (or those involved in the dark side of the paranormal) go she is up there. Funny enough, I used to hang out with a guy that was one of her decendants IIRC.

Another one I just remembered: Sarah Winchester. She thought she was haunted by demons or evil spirits (can't remember which), so she continually had the house built onto to keep them from finding her. This explanation doesn't talk about that aspect of it... might be bad for the tourism.

Some might consider foresight to be a curse. This could include death and destruction omens, which would put Lazarus in the mix.

If you want villains though try Nepolian; no one that skilled, with that much LMS (little man's syndrome) could possibly be curse-free.

My picks for your cursed souls are:

John Wilkes Booth
Lizzie Borden
John Dillinger
Blackbeard
Benedict Arnold
the starting lineup of the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers
Richard Nixon.

:twisted:Did someone say something about hidden messages?

Well I can always have more added. Another hunter can be active with a kill list and fall in battle.

Though Richard Nixon would be too busy taking over Chi-Town...

I'm seconding Longinus and and adding Rasputin
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

Oh yeah, Vlad Tepesh would be a pretty good one too (just saw another History Channel program on him yesterday).
