anthony.perez wrote:1. Is there anywhere that states the status of America West Coast, namely california, oregon, and washington?

2. Can someone point me to the place where Rifter submission rules are cuz I just can't seem to see and/or find it.

3. What exactly are Black Market Goods? I need ideas as to explain to my PC group a bit better. I just told them it was random junk that can fetch a price.

4. Is there alternate versions of vampires outside of what is in the Vampire Kingdoms book that I can use.

5. Alternate versions of priests? They seem a bit cookie cutter to me. Perhaps a custom O.C.C. someone made up?

6. I read somewhere the Black Market is headquartered in what was Area-51? Is this right or just some random fluff that someone came up with?

7. All I can think of at the moment. Thanks for your help ahead of time.

1. Yes and no. RUE talks about rumors of alien flora (specificaly, jungle) replacing the normal landscape and that nobody has crossed the Rockies and come back to talk about what they found (if they even made it over the Rockies). It's mainly up in the air because noone out there has submitted good material for it... any good ideas? :)

2. Left-hand side of the main page under "Submission Info." However, I'm not sure they've been updated yet so you'd actually be working with their old format (unless they got around to changing the format info that was posted).

3. Pretty much anything that would sell on the open market and isn't classified as a gemstone, weapon, armor, vehicle, etc. Good examples include vid discs, books, pre-cataclysm artifacts, candy, booze, and so on. Stuff that probably wouldn't have much practical use among an adventuring parties (I can already hear the arguments about the practical uses of alcohol... I know already so save it people) but would be a commodity of sorts in a post-cataclysm world.

4. Yeah, in several places. The Yara Maya Sho in Rifts Australia, the Wampyr in Nightbane, the Strigoi in Shadows of Light, and I'm sure there are a few I'm missing...

5. Look at New West, Palladium Fantasy, and Wormwood. There are also dark priests in Hades and Arzno.

6. It's in Rifts New West, and it's canon.

7. Not a problem. Happy to lend a hand. :)

This is Flea Market, not Black Market. Note that many of the items to fit in both categories. :D

Come to think of it, I need to look again and see if the books ever distinguish between "trade goods" and "Black Market goods." I don't think they do (and thus my description).

There are two Native American Preserves out on the west coast, however details on them are slim. You can find their name and a very brief description of them in WB15: Spirit West.

Regarding the Black Market, if you want some more information, check out MercTown and read the description of Ted Dutcher. Besides its a great book to get if you don't have it yet.

On Area 51, I think it is just the headquarters of Bandito Arms. While it's owned and operated by the Black Market, I'm not sure it's the actual headquarters for the BM. I beleive it was a single faction/syndicate of the BM that discovered the location.

That's a good distinction to make. Thanks for making that clearer, Dustin. :)

1 - I believe the CS, at their Lone Star Complex, is working on improved juicer's, mom technology and other area's.

2. There are no rules that I know of for this.

3. There could be if you want one.

4. Rifts WB7: Undersea's likely has this.

5. Well if Angels are controlling it, they should likely be able to raise a small island given their elemental powers.

6. Rifts Adventure Guide.

7. No problem.
