There was going to be an expansion of chinese magic in Mystic China 2 but MC2 never got written. I would need more background in chinese history/culture for me to even try to make new Chi Magic spells that would have the right Flavor.

Body Chi-same as the Chi ability, 5th or 6th lvl, doubles ME, MA, PS, PP, PE, PB, & Speed, but Not IQ. cost 50/40, save None, Chi invested 1/5 for non Supernat, 1/2 for supernatural. last 1 Melee/amout of chi needed. Simple enough.....

HUmmm that sound like a Rifts spell not a Chi Spell.

It would look like this to start off with.

Body Boost or Kokyu-han
Level: 7
Range: Self Only
Duration: one melee round per level
Saving Throw: N/A
PPE:15
Positive Chi: 1+
This Chi magic spell was developed by a chi mage that wanted a longer lasting boost then what body chi provided. Like the chi power, this spell can only raise the ME, MA, PS, PP, and speed of the mage. With each point of Positive Chi the mage can raise one attribute by three points for the duration of the spell. Multiple Chi+ points can be used to raise more then one stat or to raise the one stat more then just three points. All new attribute rolls are based off the new-temp-attribute scores.
Spell Note: this spell can not be a starting spell and must be gained through game play.

Godly Body Boost or Kokyu-sama
Level: 10
Range: Self Only
Duration: one melee round per level
Saving Throw: N/A
PPE: 30
Positive Chi: 5 and that used to raise the attribute scores.
This Chi magic spell was developed by a chi mage that wanted a more powerful and longer lasting boost then what body chi provided. Like the chi power, this spell can only raise the ME, MA, PS, PP, and speed of the mage. the base PPE and Chi requirements just raise the char's physical attributes scores to be super natural. With each point of Positive Chi the mage can raise one attribute by one point for the duration of the spell. Multiple Chi+ points can be used to raise more then one stat or to raise the one stat more then just the one point. All new attribute rolls are based off the new-temp-attribute scores.
Spell Note: this spell can not be a starting spell and must be gained through game play.

Perfect, Drewkitty. Now how about a Chi spell for IQ-Call it Mind chi, &
mod it from an ability-It would only increase IQ, ME, & Possibly MA.
ME Tops out at about 100-At least thats a correlary to PE. It Starts at 30%
vs. Coma/Death in Cyberspace- at ME of 30, & goes up from there to 100.
MA- is a personal choice of either 35-40, of course this is rather arbitrary.
I hqave some other Ideas as we go along. Maybe we can coordinate....

IQ is the one stat that can not be temporarily augmented., sorry I didn't get the quote right.
Why can't IQ be boosted? Nothing in the rules........ IQ Practical limit-235
(+98%) theoretical Limit with skills that go above 98%-Infinite. Also-for a rumor I heard that all skills can go above the 98%cap, it just there can be penalties-CF Hardware characters in HU. I heard that this is a house rule used at the last Open House- A friend went, & told me this. He's one of the soon-to-be Heroes of the Megaverse. His online name is Ingex the
Furyhunter. Mark Hall-Can you verify this for me?

Here's some more suggestions-Evoke Animus of Air-increases PP, 13th or 14th. also adds a layer of air that protects. AR-12, 1 for 2 chi air S.D.C/M.D.C. protection, work it, work it G, also Evoke Animus of negative and positive chi-A higher level version of the Pure Chi version, also the continuing Vajra Spells 1st would be 14th or 15th lvl, second would be a spell of legend-G
