My last Murmur from Universal Drive in Taylor

Hey Everybody,

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately, but it has been a mad house here at Palladium Books. The Big Move has chewed up all of my time the past week and a half.

It’s approximately 10:35 PM. Carmen Bellaire (driving the semi-truck and trailer) and I have been on the go since 6:00 AM. We’ve made tremendous progress thanks to long hours of work, a lot of advance packing/prep work, and a small army of volunteers (approximately 50 people!!!!) from all over the country, Washington DC, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, California, and of course, many from Michigan. THANK YOU EVERYONE. You are awesome!

As of 10:35 PM, Saturday night, ALL but two offices out of 5000 square feet of office are completely empty and cleared out (and they are mostly cleared out). As soon as I finish this Murmur, my desk and the last of my stuff will be hauled away.

I have to say, that I’m feeling a little melancholy seeing the place completely empty. It’s a weird feeling, and fills me with many fond memories of this wonderful building. It has very much been a home away from home. Heck, I practically lived at Palladium Book about a year after my divorce. So did my dear friend, Erick Wujcik. It's hard to leave.

Then again, the new, smaller place is very nice and everyone who has seen it, loves it. And yes, it is big enough to host the 2009 Palladium Open House.

Palladium Shut down till Tuesday or Wednesday

We’ll be taking orders and charging credit cards, but we will be unable to ship product until Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope you understand.

The new address as of April 2 is:
Palladium Books Inc.
39074 Webb Court
Westland, MI 48185
(734) 721-2903 order/help line

The Rifter #42

It did NOT get pasted up before the move. Wayne and company got it all together, but the demands on my time with building inspectors, movers, helpers, and making all the logistical preparations and running back and forth to both buildings made it impossible. That means it will be a week or so later than previously advertised. Probably April 16 or 18.

Robotech is a HUGE success

A dozen Distributers have reordered after only a few days of getting their initial shipment. Online sales are well into the hundreds of copies and while a tiny handful of people complain about the manga size and/or the RPG’s content, MOST love it! Fantastic.

Okay, I have people hovering over my desk like hungry vultures. I have to go. Which is okay, because I’m beat.

Game on!

Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
