IIRC (book is being borrowed by a player), Bio-Tech has to be fed every few days by being soaked in a nutrient solution for a couple hours. So...that makes no sense. How are these weapons used on longterm missions? Do they have some way of feeding them in the field? I'd think weapons that are photosynthetic or parasitic (leeching nutrients from the wielder or host armor) would be better, usable for weeks at a time in the field. Or even lithovore, shove some dirt/rocks into an orifice in the weapon.
But it does no good to issue bio-tech weapons to a Skinjob (or anyone else) whose mission is to stealth around at a location that is days travel away if his weapons starve partway through the mission.

I totally agree. That's why I included some bio-enhancements for hand held weapons that address this little problem.

I notice you're assigning Bio-E for classes I'm not familiar with: Falconer, Butcher, Swarm Lord, Harvester, Militiaman, Deliveryman. Are those in a rifter somewhere?
