so what do you plan on doing on free rpg day?

I am thinking about running either a beyond the supernatural game or Tibet (the rpg by Vajra Enterprises).

When's free RPG day again?

If its in early June, I'll probably be working. Then again I don't think any of the shops near me will support it...

Palladium should take part in this. Give away an intro book that gives overviews of Rifts, Nightbane, Heroes Unlimited, Splicers, etc. Might drum up some sales by getting people who are unfamiliar with these games interested in trying them.

Not that I'm aware of. They'd have to get an intern or fan to write something up probably. But it looks like getting your stuff added to the freeRPG list costs money, so if Palladium is still in any kind of financial trouble, I doubt we'll see them participating in this. Might even be too late to get in for this year.

They'd also probably want to do a separate pamphlet for each game. That way if a player has tried one of the games and didn't like it (for whatever reason, bad GM, not their genre, whatever), they might still pick up the other games to give them a look. Whereas, if they're a biased gamer they might go "ewww Rifts (or whatever game they didn't like), that means I won't like the other games, they're in the same pamphlet so they'll have a similar feel."

Maybe you can get to one in Germany? Although I'm not sure it's worth that journey..

Though don't have A lite or quickstart version for their games- even though i have pointed out to them that they should.. And its too late now for them to join up with the people who run the whole thing. They are not even allowing anymore stores to sign up at this point.

Yea I think it'd be cool to publish it on their website and it'll be ready for next year.

It depends how long ago sign up started to say if it's premature or not.

At some point sign ups have to stop so that everywhere can get what they're supposed to get.
