My Friend Erick ...

Unread post by Maryann »

Yesterday Erick Wujcik finally finished his battle with cancer. From all accounts the end was peaceful and without pain. As I write this I can't hardly believe it. We all knew that this is where this horrid event would end but he fought so hard somehow I was sure he would beat it. I know some of you believe in the life after this place, if you do please say a prayer for Erick to whatever being you think may be out there, that he is in a happy, safe place now, he deserves that.

Erick wherever you are, thank you for being my friend, I will never ever forget you, your smile and the friendship you shared.

Kev posted the news up in his murmur.

I am sorry for your loss. I never met Erick, but I own every gamebook he ever wrote. It sounds like he was a great guy, I feel like I have lost something by not knowing him. I regret my loss. I will make an offering to the gods for his safe passage and for his friends continued well-being.

The uncertainty of thought lies in the fact that it cannot be exchanged either for truth or for reality. Is it thought which tips the world over into uncertainty, or the other way around? This in itself is part of the uncertainty." - J. Baudrillard

I sincerely have no word for this. I've being "off" from the board for long time, being busy wth some problems, and now this sad news.
He gave much to palladium books fans, with great works. He will be missed. But won't be forget.
Goodbye Erik. Have good time playing with the Great Game Master up there.
Amen
