Robotech® hardcovers are in and look great!

I was so excited about the sales for the 2009 Palladium Open House V.I.P. tickets I forgot to mention the Robotech® Hardcover Editions arrived early! I’ve spent the last four hours gluing the signature card into 200 copies of the Gold Edition and thought I’d take a break (my back is killing me) to post a Murmur (or two).

The Hardcover Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® RPG looks fantastic and the Gold Edition looks exquisite. Everyone who has seen them say, “Wow.”

We already shipped out a few dozen copies to select contributors and freelancers. We expect to ship out “pre-orders” Monday (maybe even some tomorrow), which means those of you who pre-ordered via UPS should get the Robotech® RPG before they hit store shelves and those of you who have ordered by mail should get your copy around the same time they arrive in stores. (Remember, Media Mail can take anywhere from 3 to 18 days.)

I think most of you will LOVE the book(s).

- The 8½ x 11, mass market edition with the larger version of Apollo Okamura’s color cover looks fantastic!

- The blue and white end sheets are dynamic.

- The gold foil embossing of the Gold Edition looks incredible.

- The color signature sheet in the Gold Edition looks great.

- Heck, as far as we’re concerned, the whole darn book is sweet!

If you’ve been holding off on buying your copy, you might want to place that order soon, especially for the Gold Edition. If folks start ordering the Robotech® hardcovers like they are the 2009 Open House V.I.P. tickets, the limited edition Gold could sell out in a matter of weeks! I think when people see these two books, they are going to go gah gah!

Sorry if I’m raving, it’s all very exciting. Even after 27 years of publishing RPGs I get a thrill when cool, major books like these come together so well and look so good. We can hardly wait to see the fan reaction. I can hardly wait till people see/read the Rifts® Anthology book too, it is also excellent. Yep, we have a lot of great books coming your way over the next five months.

Oh, oh, that’s the order line ringing, I bet it’s another order for Robotech® or V.I.P. Thursday Open House tickets, so I better get back to work!

Man, Monday’s going to be a busy day. I think there are already something like 150 pre-orders for the Robotech® Hardcovers. And that will probably top 200 by Monday. Excellent. We’ll be ready to ship!
