V.I.P. Night & Robotech® News

V.I.P. Night Sold Out

The 60 V.I.P. Thursday tickets sold out in 13 hours! That shattered the previous record of 7 or 8 days in 2007. Wow. A couple dozen Weekend Open House passes also sold, and a number of hotel rooms were reserved. FANTASTIC!

Just be warned, if the Weekend Open House tickets (Friday, Saturday & Sunday; May 1, 2, 3) continue to sell like they are, we may hit our quota (320-350 maximum) and have to stop selling tickets for the event by March or April. Historically, this has never happened, but we never sold out V.I.P. Night in a matter of hours either! Consequently, if you are planning to attend the 2009 Palladium Open House, it may be wise to order your admission tickets and reserve your hotel room sooner (before February) than later.

As I stated in a previous Murmur, it is uplifting to see so many Palladium fans so excited about the 2009 Open House. We plan on making this event more fun than ever and may have a few surprises in addition to all the usual fun.

Some Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles®
Hardcover Editions shipped out today

Julius, Alex and Wayne broke their backs to ship out 120+ copies of the Robotech® Hardcover RPG today, along with other mail order items for the day. We didn’t get all the Robotech® pre-orders out today, but most of them (85%), and the rest will ship on Monday. So will orders placed over the weekend. In fact, as of 7:40 Friday evening, Julius is still out in the warehouse building boxes, and prepping orders to ship on Monday.

We will ship to distributors as soon as ALL of them get us their orders; August 6, is the anticipated ship date to Distributors, though if they act fast, we could ship as soon as Tuesday.

Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® Deluxe Hardcover Edition and Gold Collector’s Edition will also be available at Gen Con, along with the Rifts® anthology book, back stock titles, and other good stuff. We are Booth 501 near Upper Deck in the front of the hall.

Rifts® Tales of the Chi-Town ‘Burbs ships next Wednesday.

Don’t forget, the Rifts® Chi-Town anthology book ships around August 6, next week. It’s great! We love it. Sure, we wrote the darn thing. Sure, we’re biased. But we also know it’s darn good and that you’ll love it when you read it. Love it I tell ya!

Okay, enough silliness. It’s getting late and I’m getting a little punchy. It's been a wild, fun day. I still have a ton of things to do to get ready for Gen Con and Robotech® Macross material to read and edit, as well as my own Macross material to write, and a bunch of other stuff. Sheesh, looks like another long, working weekend.

Keep those imaginations burning.

Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
