Robotech® was a big hit at Gen Con.

Unread post by Kevin »

Robotech® was a big hit at Gen Con.

- People loved the Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles Hardcover.

- They loved the manga-sized edition, too (sold a few dozen).

- And gamers with the cash snapped up the $70 Robotech® Collector’s Gold edition, while others lamented about how they loved it, but couldn't afford it. (Start thinking about the "Gold" edition as Christmas gifts for your gamer or Robotech fan, and start saving now).

- They loved Jason's Robotech® Game. Jason Marker ran a fantastic Macross game at the Palladium booth that had players transfixed and made passersby stop for a moment to watch the action. We both got a kick out of Patrick, a second generation gamer (age 12-14?) who had inherited his father's old Robotech® books, loved 'em and wanted to learn more about the new edition (which was purchased). Jason said Patrick took to his Robotech® game like a duck to water and was one of the best players in the group! Game on, Patrick, game on!

Robotech® sourcebooks are going to be awesome

Macross Saga Sourcebook: Folks also LOVED what they saw of the sneak-peek Macross artwork and giggled like children on Christmas morning whenever Jason Marker told them about the Macross and Masters Saga sourcebooks (both in final development).

These two sourcebooks are going to send the Robotech® RPG into hyper-drive. They are both packed with updated and new data, new artwork and all kinds of good stuff! Best of all, Jason and I have all kinds of ideas for future Robotech® sourcebooks.

In fact, while I have been out of the office most of the week with some darn "bug" – Jason has been taking over my workload on the book and working hard to finish up the text on the Macross Saga sourcebook (90% done).

I'm still under the weather

Sorry if these Murmurs are short or a little funky. I don’t think I have the flu. With the rising fever, cough, sore throat and swollen gland developing, I think its Bronchitis or Strep Throat. Point is, the fever and fatigue makes it a bit difficult for me to focus and be totally on, witty or verbose. I probably shouldn’t even be in the office (or so I’ve been told), but I wanted to post some bits of news and fun and updates. Hope you understand. I just hope these Murmurs aren’t too stream of consciousness or too choppy.

More to come . . . feverish or not.

Sincerely,
