Re: On Dual Sign Warlocks with Opposite Elemental Lords
I have never seen it. As far I can recall you can pick any two elements, opposite or not.

There's never been such a restriction that I can recall. The note in 1st edition PF about it has an example of a fire/air, but it doesn't forbid them. Neither does 2nd edition.

Re: On Dual Sign Warlocks with Opposite Elemental Lords
The Tome of Magic for D&D 2nd Edition allowed elemental mages. Maybe it was there you saw a limitation for this sort of comination?

I don't doubt you, and it makes a degree of sense, but it's not the RAW.

Re: On Dual Sign Warlocks with Opposite Elemental Lords
Warlocks can't chose opposite elemental signs, and still be warlocks.
If they do, they are the Elemental fusionist class.

Re: On Dual Sign Warlocks with Opposite Elemental Lords
Warlocks could always pick opposing signs. Sorry Zerb. it never says, ANYWHERE, that you can't pick opposing signs. You just assumed that and it was never backed up by anything, ever.
Elemental Fusionists are not warlocks and never were.
Warlocks make a deal with elemental lords for power.
Elemental Fusionists learn how to control elemental forces on their own, regardless of Elemental Intelligences.
you can certainly be a fire/water or Earth/Air warlock, it has no bearing on the Fusionist class. The dual-signed warlock still won't get the unique fusion powers that mix the elements, only able to use spells from one or the other at a given time. and Eelemental fusionists will still have less overall mastery of the elements than the ones who make a pact with a higher power for it.
