Because I don't have the books here with me...are there any martial arts powers in N&SS that use ISP or PPE to "power" them, or are they all % based skills or bonuses to strike/parry/dodge/roll?
Also, is the prevailing opinion that Chi is "ISP" or "PPE"...
And...what is the official diffence between ISP and PPE. PPE is like "life force" and ISP is something that a character has to "build-up" like their inner strength or something, right?

1) no ISP nor PPE, yes some are really skills that use % and d20
2) no, it's chi (N&S isn't rifts)
3) ISP=power of only the mind, PPE=power of the soul & body, Chi= power of Spirit and body
ISP= Inner Strength Points

unless the char has a Adv. Martial Arts Form (not basic,Ex, MA quickie forms that are in all the books) then the char's Chi stays the same.
If the char has a Adv. MAF & a chi power (any) then the char gains 1d6 chi per level. If a level advancement is a chi multiplier, then the multiplier is used.
If a char has a Adv. MAF but has no chi power, and the form does not have chi powers as a part of their MA powers then chi remains at its base level.
if a char has a AMAF that has chi power as a part of the MA powers, but the char didn't not choose any chi powers, then ????
It could go eather way, to have them gain 1d6/L or they don't get any chi level ups till they choose a chi power.

my porblem is this, I keep trying to use mystic china, and n&ss with outher things, like bts... but since I only have 1st addion, and trying the get the mystic/magic systems compatable.
one thing I could see is the mage rcc... I could realy see hem studying tie chi, becouse if chi is comptable with ppe, than it would boost hes ppe... thats my arguments for physcal skills that bust hes pe....
