improveing starships

has any one played the old wing commander privateer? or freelacer these games have given me an idea for a campain. and well in one of the rifters I did find rules for building ships, I did not find rules for modafying them and things you need to know for that are as fallows. how much power is pervieded by the power plant, how much power is needed for base systems, and things like deffent times of weapons and shields, and how much space doe this systems take up. It don't matter if you have g-ds own shield or cannon, but of you dont have the space to mount the thing, or the power to make it work, its not going to do you any good....

the idea is simple, the pc's start with a ship vary basic with min. weapons shields and power systems, they than raise some money and inmorve there ship making it more capable, so they can take on higher paying and higher risk jobs, this will take place on the fronters of space, where the locles tend to use murcanarys for there defence, and may also be set with a majer war going on, so that navy assents that normaly keep the peace are off fighting the war, meaning that the pcs could find them selves working for the navy, corperations and plantary goverments, as pirates rebels and ratacals are often quick to take advantage of the shifting of navy units.

but I need tables that would tell me how much space the basic types of ships have, power out put of power plants as well as charge copsaty of things like campasaders, batterys ect.
how much the imporved systems cost, how much space is needed to mount it, and how much power is needed to run it
