CoA insanity!

Ok, so I cast CoA on a table, and bob the juicer puts his hand on it. Though the table is on his hand, he can still lift his arm up (assuming the table isn't anything special)...Or, since it's magic, the whole hand is "stuck in a part of space" thus he's unable to lift his arm up?
I ask because...once again, you cast CoA on a Super SAMAS...and it jet thrust out of there...now...if he's stuck on the ground...he could logically pull up a piece of ground...or if he's stuck in a space, the thrusters won't do squat...
Nother senario...juicer has his hand on a pole that has CoA on it...can he "rip" is hand skin off and attempt to pull himself free...or does the magic extend deeper
Note: None of these are really answered in the spell...just wondering what some others think.

Shh!
Dear God, you're going to start it all again.

IIRC there was a FAQ answer about a runnning mech unit and casting CoA in front of it that came down to the mecha unit slowing down to a stop, and not instantly falling down face-first into the CoA. Therefore my answer will be "I'm gonna let Palladium answer this one."
Seriously I could go either way, though I'm leaning toward the "you're stuck in space" answer.

Excellent question...how "deep" does CoA run if it's just the top soil?

I would say that the CoA has enough of a physical representation that it would only adhere to the surfaces it was attached to. However, since it is magic, I believe that it would adhere beyond the surface to a depth sufficient to prevent walking.
So our hypothetical SAMAS it now attached to a layer of soil 10' x 20' which would prevent forward movement. Since it is attached so completely as to be almost a part of the power armor, thrusting against it would be futile. Even if a friendly IAR pulled the suit up off the ground, the dangling weight and unwieldy mass would create an unnacceptable level of drag.
If on the other hand, the mage limited the area to a table top, a juicer should be able to lift the table. I believe the spell is a little too encompassing to allow him to simply deglove his arm to escape, but if he is willing to cut his arm off, he should be able to get away.
