What are environmental damages for extreme heat or cold? Is it in a book?

Rifts Canada has cold weather, and Dinosaur Swamp I think has hot weather.
Baalgor Wastelands for Fantast may also contain hot weather rules.

Northern Hinterlands for fantasy also has cold weather effects.

They may work, but I have an NPC that can raise the heat in an area, well beyond normal earth temperatures. Would they still apply or are there hard and fast rules for this

GM call...
Personally; I would use the established rules for heat/cold from those books. (maybe decrease the time factor element)
