If you need it for the holidays we suggest Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, and Priority Mail. Media Mail is NOT likely to arrive in time for the holidays, your risk. Shipping Deadlines – for Christmas delivery – order now
|

- UPS Ground (anywhere in the contiguous USA) – December 15th. We must have your order by Sunday, December 15, to ship on December 16 to guarantee you get your package in time for the holidays. Last year, UPS was astonishing in its speed and accuracy of shipping. Order as soon as possible.
- United States Postal Service (in USA): Ground Advantage – December 15th. We must have your order by Sunday, December 15 to ship on December 16 or 17 to guarantee you get your package in time for the holidays. Sooner is better.
- United States Postal Service (in USA): Priority Mail – December 17th. We must have your order by Tuesday, December 17, to ship on December 18 to guarantee you to get your package in time for the holidays. Sooner is better.
- United States Postal Service (in USA): Priority Mail EXPRESS (expensive) – December 18th. We must have your order by Wednesday, December 18, to ship on December 19, to guarantee you get your package in time for the holidays. Sooner is better.
- UPS 3-Day Select – December 17th, but you will pay for expedited shipping.
- UPS 2nd Day Air – December 18th, but you will pay for expedited shipping.
- UPS Next Day Air – December 19th (to arrive December 24, Christmas Eve) – Palladium Needs that order submitted by December 19th, so we can pack and ship it December 20th to arrive Monday or Tuesday, Christmas Eve, but please don’t cut it that close or pay such a high price for expedited shipping.
- We say NO to Media Mail for Christmas – There is less than a 50/50 chance your package arrives in time for Christmas when you use Media Mail at this point. YOU assume ALL risk when you ship via Media Mail. If an order arrives late, goes missing, or is damaged in transit, it will NOT be replaced by Palladium Books.
- No shipments to Canada! – Until the Canadian postal workers end the strike, we cannot ship to Canada. Moreover, orders shipped just prior to the strike may be sitting in limbo.
- Any orders placed after these dates may arrive in time for Christmas but we cannot guarantee it AND you should assume they will NOT arrive in time for Christmas. Moreover, storms, accidents, and other unforeseen circumstances may delay shipping, so please place your order as soon as possible. Happy holidays.

The original Valley of the Pharaohs RPG is a rare, expensive collectible if you can even find it. But now you can get the super-expanded, 254 page, 40th Anniversary Edition softcover – or – the 274 page hardcover with bonus material, from Palladium Books. The new, 40th Anniversary Valley of Pharaohs is written and published by the original author, Matthew Balent (Weapons and Armor, Weapons & Castles, etc.). Like the original game, it uses its own, unique game rules – not the Palladium game system – but they, like the game world and text, are unique and fun.
This game is authorized by Kevin Siembieda and Palladium Books and includes many of Kevin’s original VotP RPG illustrations and maps.
If you are a Palladium Books collector or you love Egyptian mythology and historical fiction, this game is a must. It is likely as close as you’ll come to owning the original Valley of the Pharaohs. Besides, this is a vastly expanded and improved edition that includes all those original ideas and much of the artwork vastly expanded and improved. The original rule book was only 64 or 96 pages, plus maps; this is a 250+ page tome by the scholarly Matthew Balent and is an alternative reality, ancient Egypt that is epic and well written. It’s a fun read filled with ideas, magic, monsters, and characters you can, with a little work, convert to Palladium Fantasy, Rifts, or any RPG world.

Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store

I am adding new collectibles of all kinds to my Ebay store in time for the holiday season. Some are Palladium negatives, rare and out of print books, original Palladium artwork, prints, posters, as well as other collectible toys, action figures, Nightmare Before Christmas items, one-of-a-kind proofreader copies, books, and other good stuff – including Erick Wujcik’s rare and sought after Amberzine #12-15. One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives (special and rare collectibles). Negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed.

I’ve been excited to see what Matthew Balent has done with the Valley of the Pharaohs RPG ever since he asked me if Palladium Books would allow him to expand his original game and self-publish it. That was two years ago. I think it is worth the read and is filled with well written lore, magic, monsters, people and society inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology. On this alternate Earth, magic and the supernatural are real. As I noted in the product description, this will be your best chance at ever getting Valley of Pharaohs because there are so few in existence. And this 40th Anniversary Edition is a far superior product.
Folks are getting excited about the TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG coming next year. They should be, because the books and all products are beautiful. I actually teared up when the FanRoll test products arrived. Wow. You can still get Kickstarter prices on select products via the TMNT & Other Strangeness Pre-Order Store.

A.W. in Mountain Grove, Missouri, writes (in part): I and my gaming group have greatly enjoyed the Palladium game system for over 20 years now. Most of us started out playing 2nd Edition D&D, and it will always hold a special place for us. However, due to the all-around ease of the Palladium system, and the near infinite possibilities that emerge from having so many different settings using the same mechanics, our games quickly transitioned away from other systems. For us, the Palladium rules are now the bar by which we compare all other game systems. Over the years, several members of our group have been able to make it to various Palladium Open Houses. Normally, it’s only been 1 or 2 of us and then the rest got to hear about it (and be jealous). However, in 2009, five of us were able to attend and I have to say it was a truly amazing experience ... please have another Open House soon.
