Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store

Original art – My Ebay store is one of the few places where you can find original artwork by me (Kevin Siembieda), Kevin Long, Charles Walton, and others, as well as one-of-a-kind negatives from classic Palladium books (they look awesome framed), and other Palladium memorabilia.

Collectibles include Palladium limited edition hardcovers, out of print items, signed books, one-of-a-kind proofreader copies, art prints, posters, comic books, Star Wars toys, superhero action figures, and many other toys and items from my personal collection. Yeah, I used to be a crazy toy and art collector. Hundreds of items. Take a look every weekend or two for new additions.

One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives (special and rare collectibles). Negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. The plastic film negatives were then “ganged” on a massive sheet of Mylar, 16 pages per big sheet, and the printing plates were made from the negatives – everything white, printing black. We have been cutting them loose and making them available to you. I am only keeping a few dozen pages of negatives and a few complete books for myself, the rest are all being slowly offered to you, in no particular order.

• Each negative is truly unique and resembles woodcut art.
• It is a piece of Palladium Books and RPG history you will treasure.
• Each was used to print the very book you may have in your collection (1981-2004).

Closing Thoughts – Live, Love, Game On

Live every day like your last and make sure the people you love know how much they mean to you. Leave nothing unsaid. Be real. Be present. And enjoy the people and things you love and bring you joy. In the case of us crazy gamers, that includes the games we love and the wonderful people we play them with, in addition to friends and family. They may infuriate us at times, but you know you love them. Please make sure they know that you do.

This is coming from another reminder that life is precious and all too short.

Sean’s beloved Aunt Melinda – one of his mother's sisters – passed away. This is a beautiful, close-knit family, and Melinda was precious to them all. The dear woman had been battling cancer for some time and she was in hospice with plans for her to continue hospice at home. Consequently, nobody expected her to pass quite so soon. Yes, perhaps it is true she is no longer suffering, but that doesn’t make the family’s loss and the deep hole they each now bear any less painful.

Though I never met Melinda, I feel the family’s loss as if it were my own. I feel like I know Sean’s mother Yvonne and stepfather Larry very well. They have welcomed me with open arms into their lovely home and I have welcomed them into the world of Palladium Books. They feel like members of my own family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, Sean, Yvonne, Larry, and the entire family. I’m afraid nothing I can say can assuage your pain, but I’m here for you whenever you need me. I wish I could be there with you for Melinda’s Celebration of Life this weekend, but with everything going on here, someone has to hold down the fort in Palladiumville. I’m no stranger to loss, and I am reminded of the loved ones I have lost. So I want to remind you that, while it may not seem like it now, in time, the pain will soften and you’ll find that only fond memories of Melinda remain. Collectibles include Palladium limited edition hardcovers, out of print items, signed books, one-of-a-kind proofreader copies, art prints, posters, comic books, Star Wars toys, superhero action figures, and many other toys and items from my personal collection. One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives (special and rare collectibles). Negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. The plastic film negatives were then “ganged” on a massive sheet of Mylar, 16 pages per big sheet, and the printing plates were made from the negatives – everything white, printing black. We have been cutting them loose and making them available to you. I am only keeping a few dozen pages of negatives and a few complete books for myself, the rest are all being slowly offered to you, in no particular order.

• Each negative is truly unique and resembles woodcut art.

Closing Thoughts – Chained to my desk

I’ve been joking about being chained to my desk and though no one really has me physically bound to my desk, I have been pretty glued to it. That choice is mine as I work on several projects. Actually, we are all pulling long hours as we work on several exciting projects. Yin-Sloth™ Expeditions is one of my priorities, as is our Top Secret project. Rifts® Bestiary Volume 2 and Rifts® Antarctica are also high priority projects.

Meanwhile, Sean has been diligently finalizing the Kickstarter conversions of Rifts® Titan Robotics™ and Cyberworks Collection for Savage Worlds. The stretch goal adventure too.

Everyone has been giving various projects their all. I love that it’s not just me and Sean that are dedicated to making Palladium stronger than ever before and working hard.
