The Rifter® #75 is at the printer. I’m working away at finishing Hell Followed™, the largest and perhaps the most diverse Dead Reign® sourcebook yet. It is zombie season, so I am motivated and writing like a man possessed. Meanwhile Wayne Smith and company are busy at work on The Rifter® #76 and other books and projects.

People are happy that a couple dozen copies of the Rifts® Secrets of the Atlanteans Raw Preview Edition have become available and they are scooping them and the Rifts® Sovietski Raw Preview Edition up for their collections. We know it is fun to get an advance look at what’s coming and to be able to incorporate some of that material into your game before anyone else, so enjoy.

When I’m not writing or editing Hell Followed™, I have been approving artwork for the Rifts® Board Game coming next year from Carmen Bellaire’s Rogue Heroes LLC, and concept sketches for Rifts® CS Arsenal™, Rifts® Secrets of the Atlanteans™ and Rifts® Sovietski™. All looking pretty snazzy.

It has been another action-packed week. We have all been incredibly busy working on finishing books and other things. I worked the weekend while Wayne was off having fun in Northen Michigan (a much deserved long weekend with his sweetheart), and though I have been writing up a storm, I have also been working on and plotting many things for the future.

To our surprise, Julius found an entire case of the Rifts® Secrets of the Atlanteans and Rifts® Sovietski Raw Preview Editions while conducting a routine inventory. Apparently, someone had put a case of each aside where they didn’t belong and forgot about them. The good news is there are 28 copies of Rifts® Secrets of the Atlanteans Raw Preview Edition available again, while supplies last. Which won’t be long. A lot of people were disappointed that the book sold out so quickly, and should be happy to get another chance to purchase one or both Preview Editions. Remember, we only printed 150 copies of the Rifts® Sovietski and Secrets of the Atlanteans Raw Preview Editions, so get them while you can.

Hollywood took some of my time this week as we work toward a possible option for one of Palladium’s I.P.s (not Rifts®). That would make three intellectual properties Hollywood film makers are thinking about developing for film or television. I cannot yet announce which I.P.s they are, but this particular one seems especially promising. After my conversation with the producer Thursday afternoon, he and I both ended the call fired up and excited about the prospect of working together. Awesome. Meanwhile, I have another associate shopping around a few other Palladium I.P.s. I’m happy to say we are getting inquires from a number of companies about developing Palladium properties for new mediums. I just hope one or two of them make it from concept to the big screen or as a videogame. Our fingers are crossed.
