Xmas Surprise Package UPDATE – Dec. 16, 2014

By Kevin Siembieda

It’s not too late to order a Christmas Surprise Package in time for Christmas!

Order via UPS Ground or Priority Mail by December 18 (or sooner) if you live EAST of the Mississippi River and get it by (or before) Christmas Eve, and without expedited shipping costs. UPS Ground delivers in 2-3 business days to the eastern half of the USA (add a day for Palladium to process your order). That means you can order tonight, tomorrow and even THURSDAY night (December 18) via UPS Ground or Priority Mail and still get your Christmas Surprise Package by Christmas Eve (possibly sooner)! That’s barring bad weather, delays/trouble en route, and Palladium being unable to process your Surprise Package quickly and without delay.

If you live east of the Rocky Mountains and order today or tomorrow (Wednesday) via UPS Ground or Priority Mail you should also be able to get your Christmas Surprise Package by Christmas Eve, but I don’t know if we can guarantee it. Everyone else, I’m afraid, will have to choose some sort of expedited service to get it in time for Christmas. If you live outside the USA, we can not guarantee delivery in time for Christmas no matter the method of shipping.

Palladium Books® Weekly Update – Dec. 11, 2014

By Kevin Siembieda

It is Grab Bag/Surprise Package frenzy time! As Christmas gets closer and closer with every passing day, orders for Christmas Surprise Packages are being placed in an increasing number at a steady pace. Awesome. Keep ‘em coming! Reminder, please only put product that is currently in stock (not things like Shadows of Light or the upcoming BTS sourcebooks), don’t ask only for gold editions as the available number is very limited, make sure your address is correct, and give us 10-14 choices whenever possible for EACH Surprise Package. Thanks!

Spent much of Monday picking and signing books for Surprise Packages. I read every one and make the selections. How busy are we? At 4:30 PM on Monday I realized I had yet to take my coat off! Yikes. Jeff had a good laugh about that. We all spent a lot of time in the warehouse. :)

I hope all of you are getting in the holiday spirit. I think that stores and TV promotions advertising Christmas starting in freakin’ September and really kicking in hard by mid-October creates a bit of “Christmas fatigue.” I’ve noticed a lot people, myself included, are waiting till the last couple weeks before the holiday to make purchases and are suddenly surprised to realize Christmas is only 13 days away! Good luck with your shopping and thank you for making Palladium Books a shopping destination. I wish we had more new product available, but we just couldn’t swing it. The Rifter® #68 is finally available (should arrive Friday or Monday), Robotech® RPG Tactics™ (to customers in the USA and Canada) is also available, and of course, the super-deal that is the Christmas Surprise Package. The latter being especially ideal for newcomers, gamers looking to try a new game setting and those of you looking to fill in holes in your collection. Stay frosty when doing your shopping and game on!

Palladium Books® Weekly Update – Dec. 5, 2014

By Kevin Siembieda

I hope everyone in the USA enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving. The Palladium crew had been working like fiends over many a weekend for a long time now, so I gave them a well deserved 4-day weekend off. Those four days off went by way too fast, but it did enable us to catch our breath. Julius, Alex and I worked on Sunday to insure the many Christmas Surprise Packages shipped on Monday.

I’m glad I gave the guys the long weekend off, because when they got back from the holiday, we put in some crazy long hours to get Robotech® RPG Tactics™ rewards packed up, palletized and sent off for shipping to our European backers. The 11 pallets should be placed on the ship next weekend to head out to the UK for shipping. When the items are released from port they’ll go to the fulfillment center where Robotech® product will be shipped out across the EU.

Australia and the rest of the world gets shipped next. Whew. Almost done shipping Wave One product to our backers around the world and it feels great.

Meanwhile, many backers have been building and painting the game pieces. The ones we’ve seen online look pretty awesome. I’m an artist myself, but I don’t have the patience or skill to tackle painting these pieces with the skill and artistry of many of these folks. Wow. As you know, Robotech® RPG Tactics™ products where also released to retailers in the USA and Canada, so the product is available in stores right now! Check it out.
