Palladium Books® Weekly Update – April 19, 2015

This has been a weird week in that there have been a number of highs and lows for all of us. I think the up and down weather and a heavy workload had to do with some of it. I’m glad to report that the week ended on the positive. We have a lot of irons in the fire as we work at planning and creating a wealth of products for Robotech® RPG Tactics™, Rifts®, Chaos Earth®, Splicers®, Beyond the Supernatural™ and other game lines. And on top of all that, a ton of prep work for the Palladium Open House – less than 4 weeks away! There is a lot to talk about and so much more to do. So here are what feel like the immediate highlights.

Open House Weekend Admission goes up to $60 after Monday

The $45 price of admission for the POH Weekend Admission goes up to $60 at Midnight on Monday, April 20, 2015. So if you are planning on coming to the Open House for the weekend, place your order before Tuesday! NOTE: The price of admission covers ALL events – EXCEPT the Robotech® RPG Tournament ($10 per player) – and gives you access to all the guests, Kevin and crew, as well as the many RPG gaming events (first come, first served), panel talks, auction and other activities.

  • $45 per person for the Three Day Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday; May 15, 16 & 17, 2015) per each individual when ordered BEFORE April 21, 2015. Price increases to $60 at the door and after April 20, 2015.
  • $25 for Friday, 9:00 AM till Closing (about midnight). Same price at the door, if space is available.
  • $25 for Saturday, 9:00 AM till Closing (about midnight). Same price at the door, if space is available.
  • $12 for Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Same price at the door, if space is available.
  • $87 additional for “VIP Night” – Thursday, May 14, 2014; 3:00 P.M. till about midnight. A few cancellations have made a handful of VIP night tickets available on a first come, first-served basis. Available on a first come, first served basis.
  • $10 to compete in the Robotech® RPG Tactics™ tournament (Saturday sign in 7:30-8:00 A.M., May 16, 2015). The entry fee is in addition to the price of admission if you are attending the entire POH. Seven prize categories and awards. Limited to 20 players. Win big. Sign up now! Slots are available on a first come, first served basis.

Palladium Books® Weekly Update – April 10, 2015

We have been working at such a breakneck speed on so many projects (conventions and games) that we all lost track of the days. I think half of us thought it was Wednesday yesterday, which is why this Update wasn’t written and posted last night. A lot of this week was spent on Robotech® and convention prep. The Palladium Open House is coming up fast (only 5 weeks away), as is Gen Con Indy (end of July), with PenguiCon (April 24-26, Southfield, MI) in just a couple of weeks.

This week I had a couple of good meetings with Chuck Walton about a few upcoming projects he is working on for us. I also spoke with Mark Dudley, Mike Leonard, and Ben Rodriguez, as well as had conference calls with a few new associates and some brainstorming sessions. Excitement is rising as we get to a place where we can start making a few announcements. For now I’m going to jump into the immediate stuff and get back to work. I’ll be working all weekend, and most of the guys are planning to come in to work for at least one day over the weekend. Busy is the operative word. Good things are coming.

Palladium Books® Weekly Update – April 2, 2015

My thanks to the multitude of friends, fans and associates who have been sending me birthday wishes all day long. Funny, I don’t feel any older. lol.

As I write this, high winds and a thunderstorm are washing over us. The lights have flickered several times, so I hope we don’t lose power before we send out and post this Weekly Update. We continue to work at a frenzied pace on many fronts, including Robotech® RPG Tactics™ developments, Rifts®, the Palladium Open House and many, many other things. Sales have been strong this week, with orders for Bizantium and the Northern Islands™, The Rifter® #69, the Robotech® Dice Bag, and pre-orders for a variety of upcoming titles coming in at a good pace. We’ve also gotten several distributor orders this week for Robotech® RPG Tactics™ and other Palladium game lines. But let me dive right into things.

But don’t stop there, bring any of your books to the POH for signing. No other convention or gaming event offers so many Palladium creators to sign books, and we are happy to do so.
